Sara and Tim Ferguson’s oasis in the Grandes Rousses Massif resort of Alpe d’Huez is a beautiful and traditional chalet for up to 14 guests offering warmth, comfort and homeliness and, perhaps most important of all, true English hospitality of the highest standard. From the champagne welcome by highly experienced hosts Gill and Roger, through wonderfully varied and tasty home cooked fayre and on to the special treats of the warming jacuzzi and sauna and British Sky TV, the Mountain Chalet experience leaves no boxes unticked. Add to the pot a simple as can be booking experience, a world class skiing centre and a nothing is too much trouble approach by the chalet hosts and it really is difficult for guests to achieve better value.

Had a fab stay in a super chalet in Alpe d’Huez. Great bedrooms and even better social space – the hot tub was particularly special and very much appreciated.
The best thing though was the superb chalet hosts (Gill & Roger) and the way they looked after us. Nice mature and sensible chalet hosts that made a world of difference. We will definitely be returning to Mountain Chalet. Thanks and thanks and thanks again!!!
